A heartfelt hello to all of our dental family members! We are pleased to announce we are OPEN FOR BUSINESS! We hope you and your family are in good dealth. Our community has been through so much over the last few months and all of us at Herndon Family Dentistry are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
Infection control has always been (and always will be) a top priority for our practice. Our infection control processes are made so that you recieve care that is both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures that we follow in our practice to keep our patients and staff safe.
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies' recommendations.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to protect our patients and staff. For example:
Our office will communicate with you beforehand with some screening questions and we will take your tempurature upon arrival. We have hand santizer all around the office, operatories and reception area. You may notice we will no longer offer any magazines, newspapers, children's toys, and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. We also will ask that you call or text us when you arrive for an appointment. (A mobile waiting room, if you will.) We will have a limited number of staff and patients in our office at one time.
We look forward to seeing you all, new and previously established patients and family! We are here and happy to answer any questions you might have to keep you, every patient, safe in our practice. Please call or text us for an appointment at 405-527-7070.
In regards to appointments we had to move when Covid 19 first hit, we have begun the process of calling our patients to reschedule those appointments. You're also welcome to call us as well.
Thank you for being our patient! We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back! You all mean so much to us!!
